The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development thanks the leadership on the occasion of the Cabinet's approval of the establishment of the national program " SAKHAA".

His Excellency, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, raised his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - on the occasion of the issuance of the Cabinet’s resolution by approving the establishment of the National Program (SAKHAA) for society service.

His Excellency explained that the program aims to develop society in a sustainable manner, through development projects with a social and economic impact, and provides a package of programs and incentives for emerging development projects. It also provides an opportunity for individuals with a passion for development work to make effective contributions that have an impact on sustainable development in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

His Excellency has said that according to the main performance indicators of the (SAKHAA) program, five years have been set for the program, during which it is expected to achieve a volume of projects worth 20 billion riyals, and a group of dedicated businessmen and women will contribute to achieving them in order to achieve the program's mission of supporting the community, by finding value-added development opportunities and providing an opportunity for the dedicated to participate and empower them within a national program.

His Excellency, Eng. Al-Rajhi, added that the program was built on three main strategic pillars. The first of which: encouraging the contribution of the dedicated and maximizing their participation by providing them with added value and highlighting their efforts. The second of which: achieving the highest levels of governance and transparency for the program, which reflects positively on projects and maximizing their economic and social impact. The third of which: developing development opportunities to produce projects with a deep economic and social impact that are in line with the goals of sustainable development.

His Excellency pointed out that the program approved several priority areas under which 100 development opportunities fall, after harmonization with stakeholders, namely: education, health, community outreach, developmental, environmental, tourism, cultural and technical fields.
