The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced that registration for the 1448 AH rehabilitation year at day care centers is now open, from today, Sunday 6/1/1448 AH (corresponding to 21/6/2026 AD), until the end of Thursday 2/2/1448 AH (corresponding to 16/7/2026 AD).
The Ministry clarified that the admission criteria require the beneficiary to be a Saudi national, a non-Saudi child of a Saudi female citizen, or a member of a displaced tribe, and to hold a valid residence permit at the time of application, subject to the availability of places. The beneficiary must also be free from communicable or infectious diseases, their health must permit them to benefit from the services of day care centers; they must have a moderate or severe intellectual disability; they must not have any mental or behavioral disorders that could pose a risk to themselves or others; they must be registered within the specified application period; and they must not be employed in the public or private sectors nor currently enrolled in education.
The Ministry noted that transfers between centers are available from Sunday 12/2/1448 AH, corresponding to 26/7/2026 AD, until Thursday 16/2/1448 AH, corresponding to 30/7/2026 AD, via the following link: Click here.
The Ministry indicated that the 1448 AH rehabilitation year will run for 34 weeks, commencing on Sunday 17/3/1448 AH (corresponding to 30/8/2026 AD), with 18 weeks for the first rehabilitation term and 16 weeks for the second rehabilitation term, and ending on Thursday 28/12/1448 AH (corresponding to 3/6/2027 AD).
