Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Badr Ibrahim Al Swailem, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Social Development, the Autism Center of Excellence held on Monday evening, 18 May 2026, the graduation ceremony of the sixth cohort of the “Excellence Training Program.” The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Qahtani, Deputy Minister for Rehabilitation and Social Guidance at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, along with several officials, stakeholders, and parents.

The ceremony, held at the center’s auditorium, celebrated the graduation of 93 beneficiaries, including university graduates in special education, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, as well as several administrative and technical specializations. The graduates completed a nine-month training and qualification program focused on on-the-job training and the development of professional and practical skills, aimed at equipping them with the necessary experience and enabling them to work efficiently across relevant sectors and entities.

The Excellence Training Program is one of the center’s quality initiatives. Since its launch, it has trained 332 beneficiaries, enabled 132 participants to secure employment opportunities, and qualified 200 beneficiaries for the labor market, reflecting the program’s growing impact in preparing specialized national talent, enhancing professional readiness, and expanding empowerment and employment opportunities.

The Chief Executive Officer of the center, Mr. Fawzi Al Muhammadi, emphasized that these outcomes reflect the center’s mission to build an integrated ecosystem dedicated to developing national expertise in autism spectrum disorder, improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, and enhancing rehabilitation and empowerment opportunities. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing human capabilities and supporting active participation in the labor market.
