Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Province, and in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Mr. Badr Ibrahim Al Swailem, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) concluded the activities of the Social Security Beneficiary Empowerment Forums on Sunday, 14 June 2026, during a closing ceremony held in Riyadh.

The ceremony highlighted the key achievements and outcomes of the Empowerment Forums across the Kingdom. The number of beneficiaries exceeded 34,000 male and female participants, while more than 13,000 employment opportunities were made available, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to empower employable social security beneficiaries and enhance their integration into the labor market.

The ceremony also highlighted the impact of the forums in supporting beneficiaries and enhancing their professional readiness, in addition to emphasizing the role of effective partnerships between the public sector, private sector, and non-profit sector in supporting empowerment programs and achieving their objectives. These efforts contribute to expanding economic opportunities for beneficiaries and strengthening their participation in development.

The Social Security Beneficiary Empowerment Forum in Riyadh Region represented the final stop in a series of forums implemented by the Ministry across 13 regions of the Kingdom. The forums included three main tracks: employment and training, qualification and capacity building, and entrepreneurship initiatives, in addition to workshops and specialized sessions aimed at developing beneficiaries’ skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market.

The Empowerment Forums are among the initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to qualify and empower employable social security beneficiaries by connecting them with suitable employment, training, and development opportunities. These efforts support self-reliance and increase beneficiaries’ level of economic participation.
