His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Sulaiman Al Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, conducted a field visit today, Thursday, 11 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1447 AH, to a number of Ministry sites and initiatives across the Holy Sites. The visit was attended by His Excellency Mr. Ismail Saeed Al Ghamdi, Assistant Minister for Shared Services and Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Hajj Season, as part of the Ministry’s ongoing field tours during this year’s Hajj season.
His Excellency began the visit by reviewing the services provided through the National Initiative for Hajj of Persons with Disabilities, which is implemented in partnership between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Nusuk Humanitarian Foundation, and the Sons of Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi Endowment Charity. The initiative aims to enable persons with disabilities to perform their Hajj rituals with ease and peace of mind. This year, the initiative benefited (600) pilgrims and their companions, reflecting the level of integration and cooperation among participating entities in delivering specialized services to the Guests of Allah.
The visit also included the headquarters of the Volunteer Operations Center in Mina, where His Excellency followed up on the participation of volunteers in providing field support and assistance services to the Guests of Allah. He reviewed the role of volunteer initiatives in supporting organizational and humanitarian efforts during the season, as well as the mechanisms for field operations, coordination between volunteer teams and participating entities, and the approved operational plans supporting volunteer activities across the Holy Sites.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Minister Al Rajhi expressed his appreciation to the participating entities, field teams, and volunteers for their efforts in serving the Guests of Allah. He emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among all participating organizations to enhance the quality of services provided, reflecting the wise leadership’s commitment to mobilizing all resources in service of the Guests of Allah and enabling all groups of pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
