In a scene, that combines humanitarian care with institutional regulation, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development continues its oversight of childcare centers during the Hajj season 1447H as part of its social services ecosystem, addressing family needs and support family stability during one of the most significant and highly organized seasons of the year.

The Ministry directly supervises childcare centers serving the children of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and personnel assigned to work during the Hajj season across Makkah, Madinah, and the Holy Sites. These centers provide a safe and well-organized environment that enables parents and guardians to perform their rituals or carry out their duties with ease and reassurance.

This role reflects the Ministry’s integrated approach to enhancing quality of life during Hajj. This year, the Ministry has enabled more than 34 childcare centers across the Makkah and Madinah regions and continues to monitor their operations to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety and care standards. The centers have a combined capacity of up to 900 children. Since such childcare centers provide well-equipped environments that incorporate educational, recreational, and organizational elements, helping to create a positive experience for children during their stay while giving families greater comfort and confidence as they focus on performing Hajj rituals or carrying out field duties related to serving pilgrims.

These childcare centers represent one of the key social support solutions during the Hajj season. They help ease the burden on families and enable them to devote their attention to performing religious obligations within an integrated service system that places people at the center of its priorities and reflects the Ministry’s commitment to addressing the diverse social dimensions associated with Hajj.

This initiative also demonstrates the high level of coordination among relevant entities in delivering high-quality services that consider every aspect of the pilgrim and family experience. It contributes to enhancing service quality and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in advancing service delivery and enriching the experience of the Guests of Allah.
