As part of its preparations for the Hajj season 1447H and its commitment to enhancing the readiness of private-sector establishments and promoting compliance within the seasonal labor market, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the Agency for Monitoring and Developing the Work Environment, conducted a virtual workshop targeting establishments serving domestic pilgrims during the Hajj season. The workshop was attended by more than 400 representatives of participating establishments.

The workshop highlighted the Ministry’s roles in regulating the labor market and strengthening compliance levels, in addition to viewing key digital platforms and electronic services available to employers to facilitate procedures and enhance the efficiency and quality of services provided to the Guests of Allah. The workshop also reviewed the regulations and provisions governing the employment of workers during the Hajj season, as well as occupational safety and health requirements in the workplace. Furthermore, it addressed workplace requirements specific to the private security services sector, ensuring the provision of a safe and well-organized work environment that supports operational efficiency throughout the season.

The workshop witnessed notable engagement from participants through questions and discussions that reflected the establishments’ commitment to complying with applicable regulations and instructions.

This workshop is considered part of a series of awareness and guidance programs and initiatives implemented by the Ministry to enhance the preparedness of private-sector establishments and strengthen their compliance during the Hajj season, thereby contributing to the delivery of high-quality services to the Guests of Allah in coordination and integration with relevant government entities.
