His Excellency Mr. Ismail Saeed Al Ghamdi, Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services and Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Hajj Season, continued today, Monday, 8 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to 25 May 2026, his field tour to monitor the Ministry’s activities during the Hajj season of 1447 AH. The tour included visits to several sites and initiatives related to serving the Guests of Allah in Makkah and the Holy Sites.
During the tour, His Excellency met with Ministry personnel assigned to Hajj duties, praising their field efforts and their role in providing services to pilgrims. He emphasized the importance of continuing to work as one team in a manner that reflects the Ministry’s mission and role during the Hajj season.
He also visited the Volunteer Operations Center in Mina, where he reviewed the mechanisms for managing volunteer teams, coordinating volunteer participation on the ground, and their role in supporting auxiliary services for pilgrims. These efforts contribute to promoting the culture of volunteerism and enhancing the efficiency of service delivery and emergency response in the Holy Sites.
Regarding services for persons with disabilities, His Excellency inspected the services provided under the National Initiative for Hajj of Persons with Disabilities and reviewed the measures taken to create an accessible environment that enables them to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind. This reflects the Ministry’s commitment to improving the quality of services provided to them.
The tour also included a visit to the “Shatha Al Baraem” Children’s Hospitality Center to review the educational and childcare services offered to children during the Hajj season. The center provides a safe and organized environment that supports the families of pilgrims and personnel assigned to Hajj duties.
In addition, His Excellency visited the Ghaith Charity Foundation and received a briefing on its initiatives and services for pilgrims in the areas of reception, guidance, and organization. He also visited the Exhibition of the Architecture of the Two Holy Mosques, the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaaba Kiswa, and the Clock Tower Museum overlooking the Grand Mosque, to learn about the educational content and enriching experiences they offer to pilgrims and visitors.
These field tours reflect the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s commitment to monitoring the readiness of initiatives and services provided during the Hajj season and strengthening integration with various government and service entities, thereby enhancing service quality and ensuring a comprehensive and safe experience for the Guests of Allah.
