The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development strengthened its community presence during the Hajj season of 1447 AH through a range of specialized social and developmental initiatives that played a significant role in enriching the experience of the Guests of Allah and supporting the integration of services provided throughout the season.

The “Anawart” Initiative served as a cornerstone of these efforts, contributing to the reception and support of pilgrims arriving through various entry points and providing them with a range of essential services. More than (3,000) volunteers participated in the initiative, contributing over (40,000) volunteer hours. Their efforts helped improve service quality and enhance the overall humanitarian experience of pilgrims. Through the initiative, services were provided to more than (160,000) elderly pilgrims, while nearly (1,500) persons with disabilities received support. In addition, more than (2,000) immediate medical services were delivered, and (250) guidance and counseling sessions were conducted, further strengthening the quality of humanitarian services offered during the season.

As part of its efforts to organize volunteer work, the Ministry mobilized and coordinated the contributions of more than (4,000) volunteers within an integrated operational framework. Together, they contributed over (70,000) volunteer hours and were strategically deployed across key service locations. This approach enhanced site readiness, improved coordination among participating entities, and ensured the delivery of high-quality services to pilgrims within a safe and well-organized environment.

On the social services front, the Ministry supervised (33) Child Hospitality Centers located across Makkah, Madinah, and the Holy Sites. These centers welcomed approximately (400) children during this year’s Hajj season, providing them with a safe and supportive environment while enabling their families to perform Hajj rituals with ease and peace of mind.

In line with its digital transformation efforts, the Ministry further enhanced community services through the “Mowaamah” Application, an advanced platform designed to serve persons with disabilities. The application offers a range of specialized services, including sign language interpretation, visual assistance support, identification of accessible locations, and various support and assistance services. These features helped beneficiaries access services more easily and improved their overall experience during the Hajj season.

These initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided to the Guests of Allah and strengthening coordination among government entities. They embody the humanitarian and organizational approach adopted by the Kingdom’s leadership in serving pilgrims and continuously improving their Hajj experience year after year.
