H.E. Mr. Ismail Saeed Al Ghamdi, Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services and Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Hajj Season, began his inspection tour on the evening of Sunday, 7 Dhu AlHijjah 1447H, to review the Ministry’s operations and initiatives during this year’s Hajj season. The tour covers a number of initiatives, service facilities, and social programs in Makkah and the Holy Sites, aiming at assessing operational performance, evaluating the quality of services provided to the Guests of Allah, and ensuring the readiness of the field, volunteer, and organizational teams participating in the season.
The tour commenced with a visit to the “Anwart” Initiative headquarters, where H.E. reviewed the services and accompanying programs offered under the initiative, as well as the collaborative efforts of participating entities and volunteers in welcoming the Guests of Allah. He also examined the humanitarian and organizational services provided by the initiative, which contribute to enhancing the pilgrim experience from the moment of arrival and throughout their journey between the Holy Sites.
The tour also includes meetings with Ministry personnel assigned to Hajj operations in the Holy Sites and visits to several centers supervised by the Ministry during the Hajj season, including childcare centers and a number of non-profit associations. In addition, H.E. will meet with volunteers participating in the season and review volunteer and environmental initiatives designed to promote the values of volunteerism and social responsibility.
The tour further encompasses visits to several projects related to serving the Guests of Allah, as well as cultural and social sites associated with the Hajj season. These visits aim to assess the level of integration among the various entities involved in serving pilgrims and to highlight the organizational, humanitarian, and cultural efforts undertaken by the Kingdom during the season.
H.E. Mr. Ismail Al Ghamdi emphasized that these field visits reflect the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring the readiness and quality of services delivered on the ground and to enhancing operational efficiency in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 for serving the Guests of Allah. He noted that these efforts contribute to delivering an integrated pilgrim experience that reflects the care and attention devoted by the Kingdom’s leadership to facilitating the performance of Hajj rituals with ease, comfort, and peace of mind.
