His Excellency Mr. Ismail Saeed Al Ghamdi, Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services and Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Hajj Season, met today, Tuesday, 9 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1447 AH, with ministry employees volunteering in Hajj operations at the Jabal Al Rahmah area in Arafat. The visit was part of his ongoing field tours to monitor the Ministry’s activities and initiatives during the Hajj season of 1447 AH.

During the visit, His Excellency reviewed the volunteers’ efforts in providing support services to the Guests of Allah. He praised their humanitarian and field-based contributions, which reflect the values of generosity and solidarity, emphasizing that serving the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque is among the noblest and most rewarding acts, given its profound spiritual merit and humanitarian impact, embodying the true message of volunteerism in Islam.

His Excellency also reviewed an environmental initiative aimed at reducing the waste of water bottles in the Holy Sites. The initiative focuses on reusing and redistributing unused water bottles in accordance with approved organizational and health procedures, thereby promoting environmental sustainability and minimizing waste during the Hajj season.

During the meeting, His Excellency affirmed that the services and initiatives provided by the Ministry and its affiliated entities during Hajj are a continuation of integrated organizational and service efforts designed to ensure a safe, well-organized, and seamless experience for the Guests of Allah. He further highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to empowering volunteers and enhancing their participation in the humanitarian and field activities associated with the Hajj season.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development continues its field and organizational efforts throughout the 1447 AH Hajj season as part of an integrated operational framework aimed at improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims and enhancing operational efficiency across all Hajj-related locations.
