His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, paid a visit to the Tamkeen Clinic in Riyadh today, Wednesday. His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, welcomed His Royal Highness upon arrival. This visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen integration among government entities and to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to empower individuals and foster community development.
During the visit, His Royal Highness was briefed on the operational mechanisms of the “Tamkeen Clinics” and listened to a detailed presentation outlining their developmental roles and effectiveness in providing integrated rehabilitation services. These services aim to raise the readiness of social security beneficiaries to enter the labor market and to strengthen their economic and social independence.
The visit included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aimed at expanding cooperation in training and empowering Social Security beneficiaries through the development of joint initiatives that contribute to enhancing their employability and increasing their participation in development. It also featured the signing of another Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and the Social Development Bank to provide free-of-charge locations at a number of fuel stations for permanent sales points operated by productive families (Yamam Cafe).
At the conclusion of the visit, His Royal Highness the Minister of Energy praised the remarkable efforts carried out by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. He affirmed that such initiatives strengthen collaboration between government entities and the private sector and reinforce the integrated developmental trajectory toward achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
His Royal Highness also emphasized the importance of expanding the impact of these initiatives through strategic partnerships, contributed to by the energy sector.
For his part, His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi emphasized that the cooperation between the two ministries represents an effective model of integration in developmental fields and a motivating factor for the continued development of programs and initiatives that aim to improve beneficiaries’ opportunities and enhance their economic and social participation.
It is worth mentioning that the “Tamkeen Clinics” is one of the strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. It aims to provide integrated assessment, guidance, and rehabilitation services that contribute to achieving economic and social independence for beneficiaries and empowering them to positively integrate into the labor market and society.
