Day-care Centers
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's Community Care Centers provide services for persons with moderate, severe and multiple intellectual disabilities. Beneficiaries are admitted at morning or evening intervals of not less than five hours per period, subject to specific requirements, and also provide summer programs whose fees are not incurred by the
Day-care centers provide services to women between the ages of 2 and 45, in their own independent centers, while males under the age of 12 may be served in female centers and, if older than 12 years, are served in independent male centers.
Categories admitted to day-care centers:
Persons with moderate, severe and multiple intellectual disabilities who do not benefit from integration programs in education.
Services offered by day-care centers:
Physical Therapy.
Occupational Therapy.
Ergotherapy.
Speech Therapy.
Behavior Modification programs.
Social Services.
Educational Services.
Steps:
Registration Mechanism:
1- Login through the Ministry’s online link Click Here.
2- Login with the ID number and password of the beneficiary.
3- Online services.
4- Select the service icon for eligibility for admission to community day-care centers.
5- Select the desired centers to join.
Terms of admitting disabled people to community day-care centers:
The beneficiary must be a Saudi national, or from a displaced tribe and has valid residency to apply for the program in the event of vacancies.
The beneficiary must be free of communicable or infectious diseases, and in a stable state of health, and has nothing to prevent him from benefiting from community day-care centers.
The beneficiary is of a category of severe or medium intellectual disability.
The beneficiary must be from two to 45 years of age.
The beneficiary must be free of psychological or behavioral disorders that pose a risk to him or others.
Registration must be through the link Click Hereduring the announced period starting from 2/1/1445 corresponding to 20/7/2023 till 1/2/1445 corresponding to 17/8/2023.
The beneficiary may enroll in the additional programs provided by the Centre at his own expense if they are not added to the acceptance notice.
The beneficiary must not be a private or governmental sector employee.
The beneficiary cannot be admitted if he is enrolled in education or a government rehabilitation and training centers, as well as government shelter centers such as:
(Social rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, nursing homes, girls' care homes, juvenile social observation homes), excluding those enrolled in community homes.
