14th Saudi-Bangladesh Joint Committee concludes its works, two memorandums of understanding between the two sides are signed

October 31, 2022, Riyadh - Today, the Saudi-Bangladesh Joint Committee, in its 14th session, chaired by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Bangladeshi Ministry of Finance, concluded its works.

During this session, the Saudi side was chaired by His Excellency Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abuthnain, while the Bangladeshi side was chaired by Her Excellency Undersecretary of the Economic Relations Division at the Ministry of Finance, Ms. Sharifa Khan. 

At the end of the session, the two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in a number of sectors of common interest to both countries to implement the directives of their leadership and the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, and to achieve sustainable development in vital sectors.

On the sidelines of the Committee's works, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual recognition of seafarers' certificates, and a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of a joint business council between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

At the end of the Committee’s work, the two sides expressed their satisfaction with the outputs of the Committee and the achieved results. The two sides also stressed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between them to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly countries.
