Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services receives the Governor of the Digital Government Authority

on Thursday, January 11, 2024, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services, Mr. Ismail bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, received a delegation from the Digital Government Authority headed by His Excellency the Authority’s Governor, Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan, in the presence of a number of leaders from both parties.

During the meeting, they discussed and reviewed plans, programs, initiatives and the results of joint work between the two parties in the field of digital transformation, as well as ways to improve and develop them.

During the visit, Eng. Alsuwaiyan was briefed on the most advanced services, technical solutions, proactive control systems and digital directives provided by the Ministry, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and achieving levels of service assurance and quality for beneficiaries. He also listened to an explanation of future initiatives to enhance digital transformation with the goal of improving citizens' standard of living.

His Excellency praised the Ministry's excellence in business development plans for digital transformation and the protection of the Ministry's technical assets, raising the level of cybersecurity capabilities, working on optimal investment in data to achieve the Ministry's objectives, and supporting decision-makers in the Kingdom, highlighting the fact that the Ministry's performance in terms of digital content efficiency and innovation earned it a second-place ranking among ministries.

HE Al-Ghamdi praised the efforts exerted by the Digital Government Authority in supporting the digital transformation of government entities, stressing the continuation of cooperation and efforts between the Ministry and the Authority in applying the highest digital standards, improving the experience of beneficiaries and ensuring their sustainability in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has received several honors and awards for its digital excellence among government agencies in the Kingdom, as well as at the regional level. It was among the highest government agencies in measuring digital transformation. It achieved the second-place ranking at the level of ministries in 2023, as well as the second-place ranking in the efficiency of websites and digital content from the Digital Government Authority, and received the Digital Human Resources Award at the Gulf Government HR Summit from among 200 government and private entities participating from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
