The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the implementation of the third phase of the service of transferring the salaries of support workers electronically through the designated official platforms starting from July 1, 2025, in a move aimed at ensuring the rights of support workers with regard to their salaries, and as part of the ministry's efforts to develop the support labor sector and promote the rights of both the employer and the domestic worker.

The third phase is applied to employers who have 3 or more domestic workers, after the mandatory start of the second phase from January 1st this year for employers who have more than four support workers, so that the obligation is gradually applied in successive phases, while the service will be applied to those who have two or more workers starting from October 1, 2025, provided that the service includes all support workers by January 1, 2026.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development stressed the importance of electronically transferring the salaries of domestic workers, as it represents a pivotal step towards enhancing transparency and reliability in the process of paying wages, and facilitating it through digital wallets and approved banks through the "Musaned" platform. This service also contributes to preserving the rights of all parties to the contractual relationship.

It is worth mentioning that the service of paying the salaries of domestic workers through the specified official channels includes a number of advantages for the employer and the worker, as it enhances the proof of salaries for support workers, and makes it easier for the employer to finish the procedures for the worker when the contractual relationship ends or when he travels. At the same time, it ensures that the worker receives salaries periodically, regularly and steadily, or if he wishes to transfer the salary to his family in his country, directly through the same specified official channels with ease and safety.
