The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, announced the implementation of the second phase of the decision to raise nationalization rates for four healthcare professions in the private sector, effective from 25 Rabi' al-Thani 1447 AH (October 17, 2025 AD), in accordance with the approved professional definitions and titles.

This decision comes within the framework of the two ministries' efforts to enhance the participation of national competencies in the labor market and provide stimulating and productive job opportunities for male and female citizens across the Kingdom, in support of the objectives of the labor market strategy and the health sector transformation program.

The decision targets the nationalization of the following professions: Clinical Nutrition and Physical Therapy at 80%, Medical Laboratories at 70% and Radiology at 65%, It also sets the minimum monthly wage at SAR 7,000 for specialists and SAR 5,000 for technicians. This shall include all healthcare facilities across the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has made the procedural manuals available on its website to clarify the details of the decision and the nationalization rates, calling on all establishments to adhere to its provisions to avoid legal penalties imposed on violators.

This decision comes as a continuation of efforts to implement nationalization of healthcare professions, with the Ministry of Health overseeing the implementation of the decision in line with labor market needs. Private sector establishments will also benefit from support programs and incentives provided by the Human Resources and Social Development, which include assistance in recruitment, training, qualification, employment, and career continuity processes. Additionally, the Ministry of Health has designated as a priority the utilization of nationalization support programs and programs of the Human Resources Development Fund “HADAF”.

The two ministries affirm their continued joint national efforts to support the achievement of the objectives, acceleration of progress, empowerment of national competencies, and increase of their participation in the labor market, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
