Article (7): 

  1. The provisions of the contract between the parties to the relationship shall be governed by a domestic employment contract in accordance with the mandatory contract forms determined by the Ministry 

  2. The text shall be in Arabic and shall be translated into the official language understood by the domestic worker in his country.
  3. The domestic work contract shall be deemed to exist, even if it is not in writing. In this case, the domestic worker may prove the domestic work contract and the rights arising from it by all means of proof. The parties to the relationship may request the writing of the domestic work contract at any time. The rights of the domestic worker shall not be forfeited when the conclusion of the domestic work contract is not observed in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the regulation.
  4. The domestic work contract must be for a fixed period, although without a statement of its duration, it is considered concluded and renewed for a period of one year from the date of commencement of work.

Article (8): 

The domestic work contract must include, in addition to the other conditions agreed upon by the parties to the relationship and in a manner that does not conflict with the provisions of this regulation, the identification of the following essential elements:


(a) The type of work that the domestic worker is obligated to perform.
(b) The name of the parties to the relationship, their nationality, place of residence, e-mail of each of them, contact numbers, data of a close person, and the national address of the domestic employer.
(c) The date of conclusion of the contract and the date of its entry into force.
(d) The wage that the domestic employer is obligated to pay to the domestic worker and the manner of its performance.
(e) The rights and obligations of the parties to the relationship.
(f) The probation period.
(g) Regulating daily working hours, weekly rest, overtime hours, and cases of necessity to assign the domestic worker to work not agreed upon in the domestic work contract, in a manner that does not deviate from the works and professions stipulated in this regulation.
(h) The duration of the contract and how to extend and terminate it.

(i) Insurance of the domestic work contract in accordance with the instructions regulating it.
