His Excellency the Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for the Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanin, met today, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, with Her Excellency the Regional Director for World Bank Human Development, Dr. Fadia Saadeh, accompanied by her delegation on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. 

During the meeting, both discussed the aspects of joint cooperation between the Ministry and the World Bank over the past years, also they tackled into and emphasized on the importance of enhancing this cooperation for the support of the Ministry’s efforts and its many initiatives that aims to develop the Saudi labor market. Finally, they asserted on moving forward towards expanding the horizons of cooperation in mutual areas between the two sides.

Her Excellency Dr. Fadia Saadeh expressed her appreciation for the leadership of the Human Resources and Social Development Ministry besides her appreciation for the distinctive and fruitful cooperation and support between the two sides. H.E also applauded the positive and generative transformations that KSA witnesses in connection to the labor market, knowing that those transformation constitute a global success story. Finally, Dr. Fadia Saadeh, speaking of future, expressed her aspiration to keep these partnership and cooperation always in pace.

It is noteworthy that this meeting reflects extension of the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all international organizations. Knowing that the Ministry seeks to strengthen and develop these relations in all areas and at all levels.
