The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development calls on giant, large and medium enterprises to "self-assess" and raise the rate of compliance with work regulations

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has urged all mega, large and medium enterprises subject to the Saudi labor system to complete the procedures for "self-evaluation" of their performance, in implementation of the ministerial decision issued in this regard, which stipulates that giant, large and medium enterprises must complete the self-evaluation before the end of January of each calendar year. .

The Ministry has extended the time limit for completing the evaluation for this year, taking into account the circumstances of the pandemic, and electronic services for the establishments that did not comply will be suspended on September 1, 2020.

She emphasized that the program aims to ensure the safety of the application of the work system in these establishments and their compliance through an integrated cycle that begins with the establishment's self-evaluation and work to correct its mistakes before inspection visits by the inspectors of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and the Ministry called on all establishments to register in the "evaluation program." Self-assessment and completion of the evaluation, which will have an important role in helping establishments identify their compliance with the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and self-correct errors, as it is a requirement to benefit from the Ministry’s services, as all mega, large and medium enterprises can register and complete the assessment electronically through Link: https://ims.mlsd.gov.sa/#/home

The ministry indicated that the "self-evaluation" stage is the first stage of the program, and this stage aims to assist the establishments in identifying the extent of their commitment to the decisions and regulations of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, stressing that the establishment must respond credibly to all the criteria set by the program, as the evaluation stage was simplified. Within the 16 standards that include 5 criteria related to establishments, 6 standards related to workers, and 5 other criteria related to the employment of some special groups.

The Ministry called on all establishments that do not have an account with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to go to the ministry's electronic services portal and create the account electronically through the following link: https://www.mol.gov.sa/IndividualUser/BasicInfo.aspx

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development issued in Shawwal, corresponding to 1440 AH, a ministerial decision to approve the program of "self-evaluation" for giant, large and medium establishments, which includes obliging these establishments to register in the electronic portal for self-evaluation, provided that these establishments are committed to completing this evaluation annually at the beginning of each In a Gregorian year, the decision includes suspending electronic services at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for establishments that do not commit to completing the evaluation within the specified time period.
