His Excellency vice minister of human resources and social development for work professor Abdalla Bin Nasser Abouthanin held a meeting with His Excellency vice president of human rights commission professor Hesham Bin Abdelrahman Al Sheikh. The main purpose of the meeting held today in Riyadh is to follow the activating partnership between the ministry and the commission. 

During the meeting, themes of partnership between the two sides and the agreement of human rights development were reviewed in the fields that concerns the ministry of human resources and social development including enhancing the protection of workers' rights, taking action to combat trafficking in persons and domestic violence, strengthening the rights of older persons, the family and children, persons with disabilities and the mechanism for promoting the rights of these groups of society. The comprehensive plan for the development of mutual action mechanisms was discussed between the two sides within the framework of monitoring the humanitarian conditions of beneficiaries of social ministry services, conducting studies and research on each party's competencies and methods of handling complaints.

His Excellency professor Abdallah Abouthanin emphasized that preserving and protecting human rights are two of the priorities of wise leadership -God bless it- indicating that ministry’s efforts in cooperation with human rights commission contributedsignificantly to combating trafficking in persons and domestic violence and enhancing community groups rights that is supported by the ministry and labor rights protection in the work market.
