The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has been awarded a certificate of recognition for organizational excellence with a 5-star rating, making it the first ministry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve this distinction in 2023, according to the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model.

This international recognition comes in acknowledgment of the ministry's efforts and its continuous pursuit of implementing a comprehensive approach to the journey of institutional excellence, aiming for innovation and creativity, and enhancing performance efficiency and business outputs.

Assistant Minister Ismaeel Al-Ghamdi explained that this recognition is an achievement that reflects the productive environment of the ministry, which is based on the application of best practices in adopting innovative methodologies and business governance. He pointed out that the ministry adopts sustainable institutional excellence as a key focus in its strategy and one of its institutional values.

It is also noteworthy that EFQM is a non-profit organization established in 1989, and is the most prominent reference globally for models of institutional excellence.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has worked to apply the standards of Institutional Excellence models to all its sectors "Labor, Social Development, Civil Service, common services" in addition to its pivotal role in developing policies and procedures for the Saudi labor market and contributing to maximizing the economic impact in support of the kingdom's development process and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
