The Minister of Labor and Social Development, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, will head the Kingdom's delegation to the 46th session of the Arab Labor Conference, which will be held on Sunday, 21 April 2019, in Cairo, Egypt. The conference will discuss a number of topics on its agenda, notably the report of the Director General of the Arab Labor Office entitled "Labor Relations and the Requirements of Sustainable Development", as well as discussing the enhancement of the role of the blue economy to support employment opportunities. The conference will also discuss the role of modern technology in integrating people The Conference will discuss the appointment of the Director-General of the Arab Labor Organization for the period 2019-2023 and the formation of the Committee of Legal Experts for the period 2019-2022, in addition to honoring Arab employers. On the sidelines of the conference, a coordination meeting will be held for the GCC Ministers of Labor prior to the conference to coordinate the issues on the agenda of the 46th session of the Arab Labor Conference (Cairo, April 2019).
