His Highness the Deputy Prince of Eastern Province… Bless Signing 4 MOU between Eastern resources and many regions

His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, blessed the signing  4 memorandums of understanding between the branch of the Ministry of HRSD in the Eastern Province, represented by the Social Investment Unit, both Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility, Absar, Khalifa Abdul Latif Al-Mulhim Holding Company, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Foundation for Human Development, and Al-Bassam Institutes, during the Strategic Partnerships Forum organized by the Ministry’s branch, represented by the Social Investment Unit. The Ministry’s branch was represented at the signing by its Director General, Abdul Rahman Al-Muqbel, and the ABSAR Council was represented by its Secretary-General, Lulwa Al-Shammari. While Al-Mulhim Holding Company was represented by Muhammad bin Khalifa Al-Mulhim, the Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Foundation was represented by its Acting Secretary General, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Saeed Al-Dosari, and Al-Bassam Institutes, represented by Mr. Hamad Al-Bassam. The memorandums that were signed included several areas of cooperation, including achieving sustainable development by empowering the sons and daughters of the nation and contributing to the exchange of training and practical experiences between the Ministry’s branch and these entities that seek to have companies adopt rehabilitation programs. Training and creating job opportunities for the nation’s young men and women, and achieving cooperation between the participating parties based on mutual benefit.

These memorandums aim to provide 150 job opportunities for cases of beneficiaries sponsored by the Ministry in several phases and to support the non-profit sector by filling its job vacancies, by employing national cadres under the “Tadafur” program to localize jobs with several companies, including Khalifa Abdul Latif Al Melhem Company. Then assign them to work for non-profit sector organizations, in order to contribute and activate their societal role in aspects of social investment, and to achieve the goals of interdependence and solidarity among all concerned parties.

The signed memorandums also aim to develop and empower the human capital of national cadres in the administrative, professional, and technical fields, and the skills required in the labor market, through the implementation and delivery of training and rehabilitation services by both Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Foundation for Human Development and Al-Bassam Institutes, and creating Job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the nation, focusing on spreading the culture of social responsibility and community investment in implementing programs.

H.E. also witnessed the signing of employment contracts for many beneficiaries sponsored by the Ministry, which were provided by Khalifa Abdul Latif Al Melhem Holding Company, and the provision of opportunities for qualified national cadres to engage in the labor market through the Tadafur program for localization of jobs.

His Highness watched a visual presentation of the social investment outputs at the Ministry’s branch, which contributed to the development of human capabilities, raising the percentage of domestic output in the non-profit sector, as well as achieving high-performance indicators, spreading the culture of social responsibility in companies in addition to the importance of social investment in national cadres, presented by Head of Social Investment at the branch, Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaid.

The Director General of the branch of the Ministry of HRSD in the Eastern Province, Abdul Rahman bin Fahd Al-Muqbel, stressed the importance of these memos that contribute to improving the services provided to the Ministry’s beneficiaries, through continuous development in their fields in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. It has also come out of a sense of duty towards the country and society. Besides, to achieve the sustainable development goals, whose outputs seek to activate the National Transformation Program from pastoralism to empowerment in line with the ambitious vision. These memorandums aim to empower the cases sponsored by the Ministry in the region, support the non-profit sector by filling its job vacancies, and continue to activate the role of community companies in the employment of national cadres to activate their pioneering role in social investment. 

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, may Allah protect him, honored many companies that took the initiative to adopt training programs and create job opportunities for sons and daughters of the region.
