The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development holds the “Digital Transformation Forum” in the Asir region

Today, Thursday, August 31, 2023 AD, corresponding to Safar 15, 1445 AH, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development held the Digital Transformation Forum in Asir region, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for Digital Transformation, Eng. Faisal Bakhshwain, with the participation of both the Digital Government Authority and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, SADAIA, Asir Region Development Authority, and several government and private agencies.

The Digital Transformation Forum comes within a series of meetings that the Ministry is working on, including the regions of “the Northern Borders, Al-Qassim, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, to be concluded in the Eastern Province.”

The Ministry, represented by the Digital Transformation Agency, seeks to introduce the digital transformation strategy and highlight its digital achievements in its supervised sectors, which are: “work, social development, civil service, common services,” and work to enhance and increase the impact of digital transformation on the government, private, and non-profit sectors. The digital transformation strategy aims to promote services for the sectors supervised by the Ministry. The Ministry provides more than 1000 digital services and procedures, to serve more than 32 million beneficiaries.

At the beginning of the forum, the Undersecretary for Digital Transformation, Eng. Faisal Bakhshwain pointed out during his opening speech the achievements achieved by the Ministry in the field of digital transformation. The Ministry won second place in the innovation phase of measuring digital transformation for the year 2022 at the Digital Government Summit Forum. It also won second place in the 10th measurement for digital transformation, the silver level of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, as well as the Best Digital Leader Award. He also reviewed the digital transformation journey in the sectors supervised by the Ministry and highlighted the digital services provided to beneficiaries.

The Forum's agenda included reviewing the future of digital transformation, the impact of digital culture on various sectors of the country, presentations to raise awareness of digital and automated services, a review of success stories in the field of digital transformation, and holding talk sessions to discuss the acceleration of digital transformation in the Kingdom and the upcoming targets in this field.
