Four activities to nationalize at the beginning of Sha’aban with training programs for Saudi nationals in Baha region: MLSD

Spokesman of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development Khaled Abalkhail revealed four activities are expected to be nationalized in the Baha region in the beginning of Sha’aban 1439 A.H., clarifying these activities include nationalization of motorcar agencies and showrooms, auto parts shops, shopping centers (malls) and appliances and electronics shops.
The spokesman pointed out the ministry and its affiliating entities will offer support in so many fields through providing the training and rehabilitation programs that nationalize specific activities and the electronic training programs via the ‘Doroob’ platform that prepare the youth in various sectors.
Abalkhail added they also offer technical support and funding to those who want to set up independent businesses, conduct career fairs that enhance harmonization between employers and job seekers through utilizing the national labor gateway (NLG), provide support in the field of inspection.
Both the ministry and its affiliates would work on monitoring nationalization decisions in cooperation with the nationalization committees as part of the ‘target nationalization’ program, as well as supporting transportation for the working women through the Wusool initiative and offering children hospitality centers through the Qurrah initiative, added Abalkhail.
Meanwhile, HRH Prince Hussam bin Saudi bin Abdulaziz, governor of the Baha region, and H.E. Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Ali bin Nasser al-Ghafis signed a memorandum of understanding to launch the target nationalization program in the region in order to increase participation of Saudi nationals in the labor market.
The MoU aims to increase the contribution of the national cadres to the labor market, nationalize job opportunities in the private sector in the region in a way that provides decent jobs for its sons and daughters and offer quality solutions that enhance productive and sustainable nationalization programs for the labor market.
The ministry and its affiliating entities under the agreement would join the forces to provide training, employment and incentive services that play a crucial role in regulating and developing the labor market in the region.
Additionally, the MoU is in a bid to enhance partnership and cooperation between the governorate of the Bahah region and the MLSD, as well as combine efforts in the field of regulating the labor market and achieving the objectives of employment and nationalization in the region.
According to the MoU, both the governor of the Baha region, chairman of the high committee for the target nationalization program in the Baha region, and the minister of labor and social development agreed to start implementing the target nationalization program in the Baha region with the aim of raising the contribution of the national cadres to the labor market, offering quality solutions and enhancing the nationalization process to be productive and sustainable.
