His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al Rajhi, emphasized the integration of the system of human resources and social development with the government's efforts to serve the guests of the Merciful and achieve the wise leadership's directives - may Allah protect it - in harnessing all resources to facilitate their pilgrimage with ease and tranquility.

His Excellency revealed 8 initiatives of the Ministry's efforts during this year's Hajj season, 1444 AH. These initiatives include volunteering, providing meals and water, pilgrim wage workers service, children's hospitality centers, Eid sacrifice delegation service, oversight committees, and gift and sacrifice committee, and emergency committee.

His Excellency said that the launch of the pilgrim wage workers service aims to serve establishments working during the Hajj season and individuals interested in seasonal work to meet the labor force needs. He pointed out that the Ministry continues to supervise and monitor activities related to the Hajj season through its oversight committees, which ensure the application of the regulations for temporary and seasonal work visas and the implementation of the labor laws in the holy sites. The Ministry also monitors the facilities for domestic pilgrims to ensure their compliance with the regulations and instructions. Additionally, the Ministry participates in emergency committees to provide support and assistance by involving psychological specialists and social researchers in emergency situations, God forbid.

Eng. Al-Rajhi added that the Ministry has launched a campaign under the slogan (Honor and Giving) with the aim of enhancing the participation of community members in volunteering opportunities available to serve the guests of the Merciful and facilitate the performance of their rituals. He explained that a number of specialized associations, in coordination with relevant authorities, will provide their services to pilgrims by offering dry food meals and providing water in all the holy sites.

The Minister of Human Resources pointed out that the ministry has provided services for child hospitality centers in the regions of Makkah and Al-Madinah to accommodate the children of pilgrims and Umrah performers and provide accommodation and entertainment services for them in a safe environment. He also emphasized the availability of deputizing service for Eid sacrifices through the "Donations Platform," and the preparation and distribution of Eid sacrifices to those in need and deserving on behalf of the Hajj pilgrims. His Excellency explained that the ministry oversees the committee for the distribution of sacrificial meat gifts in coordination with the Islamic Bank and charitable associations to ensure its delivery to the deserving recipients.
