For the second time in a row, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development won first place in the “Best Communication Practice that Accompanied Volunteer Campaigns” category in the Sharjah Government Communication Award

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development won first place in the category of best communication practice that accompanied volunteer campaigns, during its participation in the 10th Sharjah Government Communication Award, which included 31 different categories, with the participation of several governmental, semi-governmental and private agencies and individuals from among more than 1000 participants from 37 countries. The winners were announced during the closing ceremony of the IGCF in its 12th edition, at Expo Center Sharjah.

The Ministry won such award for its communication and media efforts to support the practice of volunteering through the media campaigns accompanying the launch of the “Volunteer Your Experience” initiative aimed at promoting volunteer work practices in society, by investing in the expertise and experiences of the participants, their excellencies and highnesses, as well as experts from the leaders of the government, private and non-profit sectors in the Kingdom, and transferring it to community institutions and individuals in various fields.

The Sharjah Award for Government Communication, in its current 2023 session, received more than 1530 Arab and international participation. It seeks to build awareness of the importance of government communication among authorities. It priorities supporting distinguished work in various fields, working on strategic directions, and moving towards building a distinguished system in the thinking of government communication and developing its practices at the local and global levels.
