Social Charity Fund supports employment of 10,600 young Saudis
Publication date: 21 September 2022 - 25 Safar 1444The Social Charity Fund has contributed to employment of more than 10,600 young Saudis of the needy families in a number of government and private entities.
It came after their completion of education in college as part of the scholarship program that the fund supports.
The fund succeeded through its social impact project in providing employment to 1,435 Saudi nationals in the Riyadh region, 2,567 in the Makkah region, 1,990 in the Eastern Province, 866 in Madinah, 806 in Jazan, 707 in Qassim, 637 in Asir, 463 in Najran, 387 in Jouf, 295 in Ha’il, 277 in Tabuk and 183 in Baha.
The fund aims to leave social and quality impact on categories, build various tools to exchange experiences with experts in the social sector and contribute to effectively building technical capabilities of the sector, including non-governmental organizations and charitable entities.
It strives to finance and support programs that empower and involve the needy ones in the society, as well as achieving the social security by using untraditional methods in spreading awareness of particular issues.
Additionally, the fund is keen to measure the effects that these development programs leave and enhance their implementation in the social associations, which leads to redirecting resources and widen impacts on target groups.
The programs focus on studying causes of poverty in the light of education, health, housing and other fields to ensure evidence-based perspective, in order to get rid of the sources of poverty.
