The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, begun implementation of the decision to nationalize the dental professions by 35%, as of 03/10/2024 AD, as the Saudization rates will be applied to private sector establishments that employ 3 or more workers in the dental professions. This decision comes within the efforts of both ministries aimed at boosting productive job opportunities for male and female citizens in various regions of the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Health clarified that while it will oversee its implementation in a way that is compatible with the demands of the labor market and the specialization of dental professions, it will endeavor to monitor and carry out this decision, which increases the level of participation in the labor market.

The Ministry of Health further confirmed that private sector organizations will profit from the incentives and support programs, offered by the human resources and social development system, to assist organizations in hiring Saudis. These programs include but are not limited to: assisting with the hiring process and haunting for qualified candidates; assisting with the required training and qualification process; and assisting with the hiring and career continuity process. Additionally, the Ministry of Health has designated as a priority the utilization of all Saudization support programs available within the system, as well as employment and support programs through the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF).

Finally, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has published a procedural guide on its website that outlines the necessary nationalization, professions, and percentages. The guide emphasizes the importance of establishments adhering to the provisions and implementing them correctly to avoid the statutory penalties that will be imposed on violators.
