His Excellency the Undersecretary of Social Security and Empowerment, acting head of the Social Development Sector, Eng. Sultan Al-Jarees, met with His Excellency the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Mr. Mohammed Al-Zarqani, and his accompanying delegation, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of leaders and officials of the Ministry.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the two sides in the field of social development, where His Excellency touched on the most prominent initiatives and projects of the Ministry in this regard in line with the sustainable development goals, and during the meeting, the most prominent international practices in the fields of social development were reviewed.

The importance of this meeting comes within the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen the relationship with the United Nations agency in social affairs.
