Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may Allah protect him - the Ministry of Human Resources and Human Development is participating in the third edition of the Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition 2024, which is organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah during the period from 8 to 11 January 2024 in Jeddah.

The participation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development stems from its role in facilitating the arrival of pilgrims, and providing many services and technical systems that contribute to enriching the experience of pilgrims, among 360 government and private agencies participating in national efforts in the Umrah and Hajj season.

During the days of the conference, the Ministry will review the services and programs provided to serve the pilgrims, including volunteering services, modern work patterns, in addition to the supervisory role of organizing seasonal work, as the Ministry works to develop operational plans, estimate the need for human cadres and harness all capabilities with partner agencies.

Remarkably, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's numerous programs and initiatives aim to make the labor market more appealing. These include automating over 80% of the ministry's services, aiming to add 300 new services on its digital platforms by 2024, and fostering community service among the younger generation in order to meet the goal of one million volunteers by 2030.
