The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development launches a number of digital products and services as part of the “LEAP” conference

Today, His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, launched a number of digital products and services aimed at enhancing the digital transformation in the ministry, and facilitating the services provided to beneficiaries, during His Excellency’s visit to the Saudi Digital Pavilion as part of the third edition of the largest technical conference, “LEAP 2024.” In the presence of His Excellency the Assistant for Shared Services, His Excellency the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, and a number of leaders from the ministry.

The launches included a group of digital products supporting the rehabilitation and social guidance platform, including: the family counseling system, family guidance and consultation services, providing access to family counselors through professional and reliable specialists, the social specializations system, issuing and managing licenses for social specialization practitioners and approving their professional classification. In addition to the family protection system, which allows recording and following up on reports and monitored cases through integration with the relevant security authorities in a way that ensures the privacy and safety of beneficiaries and informants. These services intend to support individuals who meet social qualifications by offering electronic services for managing and issuing licenses, as well as expediting and facilitating the processing of family protection reports. They also provide family counseling centers and family counselors with an electronic guide that includes evaluations of their beneficiaries.

Additionally, His Excellency launched the empowerment service on the Social Support and Protection Platform, which offers social security beneficiaries the opportunity to develop their cognitive skills through training commensurate with their academic background and skill set. The platform has benefited over 100,000 young men and women by 2023. It aims to harmonize the requirements of the labor market with job seekers, provide support to emerging and small enterprises, and improve the social and economic level of social security beneficiaries.

Among the services His Excellency unveiled were establishment file management services, which seek to streamline business processes by automating and integrating them across relevant authorities via Qiwa platform. Additionally, these services aim to enhance the beneficiary's experience and preserve the commercial entity's continuity by integrating with 13 government agencies.

In a speech on this occasion, His Excellency the Minister stated that the Ministry started the process of digital transformation four years ago, and that our objective is to serve beneficiaries wherever they are and reduce their visits to Ministry branches. The Minister also noted that the Ministry has improved the digital transformation of its services by offering over 1000 automated digital services, an increase of 80%. Finally, the Minister emphasized that by the end of 2024, we hope to have launched 300 new automated services.

For his part, the Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation, Engineer Faisal bin Ahmed Bakhshawain, confirmed that the Ministry’s participation in this year’s LEAP conference comes to enhance and consolidate the positive mental image of the Ministry’s efforts as one of the leading parties in the field of digital transformation, stressing the Ministry’s constant and continuous keenness to develop an integrated digital system that contributes to Achieving a unique and distinctive experience for beneficiaries.

It is worth noting that the participation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the "LEAP 24" conference, which includes more than 1,000 international and local companies in the technology sector, and more than 1,000 experts and speakers from 180 countries, comes within the framework of its endeavor to develop services to care for its beneficiaries, and showcase its digital services and products.
