Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development launched, through its e-platform Ajeer, an incentive initiative for establishments contracting with security guard firms. The initiative comes within the Ministry’s efforts to improve the work environment for Saudis in private sector facilities.
The initiative includes the calculation of localization factor for Saudi security guards working for the benefit of establishments contracting with security guard companies. These establishments can benefit from the initiative through fulfilling several controls and conditions that include a minimum wage starting from SAR 4,500.
It is noteworthy that this initiative comes as part of a series of initiatives launched by the Ministry to raise the efficiency of the Saudi labor market and increase its attractiveness, including "the wage protection law, contractual relationship improvement initiative, Wedi program, and other initiatives aimed at improving the work environment in the Kingdom."
