وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية وهيئة تنظيم الإعلام توقّعان مذكرة تفاهم

The Ministry, today, Monday, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the General Authority of Media Regulation in the headquarters of the Saudi Media Forum (SMF) V, with the aim of empowering the national cadres in the Media Sector and activating the Modern Work Models.

In signing the MOU, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development was represented by the HRSD Deputy for Saudization, Mr. Hatem Saleh Al-Ballaa, while the General Authority of Media Regulation was represented by H.E., CEO, Dr. Abdullatif Bin Mohammed Al-Abdullatif.

Such MOU aims at discussing the joint cooperation between both parties for implementing and activating the Modern Work Models(flextime workremote work, and freelance work) for those who practice media professions under supervision of the Authority. This is in addition to launching awareness initiatives and campaigns for enhancing awareness of them, in conjunction with forming a joint team for following up implementation and coordination between both parties, and benefiting from both parties’ services, including technical linkage, marketing, and sharing data, which contributes to empowering the Saudi youth in media majors and providing motivating a working environment that supports their professional growth, within the HRSD’s pursuits to develop a more inclusive and flexible market labor, in alignment with the KSA Vision 2030 objectives.

Furthermore, the fields of understanding include coordination with regard of technical linkage between relevant platforms, raising the level of awareness of professional opportunities and options available for national cadres, which contributes to supporting their sustainability and boosting their competitiveness in the labor market.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, through such MOU, strives to support Saudization targets, and providing qualitative job opportunities for national cadres, based on modern work models, which enhances leverage from national capabilities and skills, and contributes to driving development.
