The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is announcing the extension of the deadline for "the correction of the status of absent support service workers", starting on 20 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to November 11, 2025, for six months. The extension comes as part of the Ministry’s continuing efforts to develop the sector of support workers and improve contractual relationships.

The extension also aims to give support workers and employers the opportunity to correct the status and complete the relevant procedures of absent workers through automated procedures on the Musaned platform with the aim of improving the work environment and preserving the rights of all involved parties.

The Ministry clarified that the initiative is part of its efforts to regulate the labor market, as it allows support workers, who have previously been registered as absent or whose residence permit has expired and are still in the Kingdom illegally, to correct their status by transferring their services to other employers after completing the regular procedures.

The Ministry confirmed that all procedures must be carried out via the "Musaned" platform. Such procedures do not apply to workers who became absent from work after the date of the announcement.
