توقع اتفاقية عمالية مع جمهورية نيجيريا الاتحادية

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed an agreement today, Monday, 26 January 2026, with the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the field of general labor recruitment.

This took place during a meeting between His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, and His Excellency the Federal Minister of Labour and Employment of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Mohammed Dingyadi, on the sidelines of the Global Labor Market Conference, in the presence of a number of ministry officials and members of the Nigerian delegation.

The agreement aims to establish a regulatory framework for all procedures necessary for the ethical and effective recruitment of Nigerian workers in the Kingdom, enhancing the protection of the rights of both workers and employers, regulating the contractual relationship between them, and setting mechanisms for joint follow-up and implementation of the agreement’s provisions. During the meeting, both sides discussed key issues of mutual interest between the two ministries and reviewed prominent programs and initiatives related to labor, employment, and skills.

This agreement comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to build and strengthen international relations with counterpart ministries worldwide and to explore all avenues of bilateral cooperation in a manner that achieves shared objectives for all parties.
