The “Professional Accreditation” Program supports the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s strategy to enhance market efficiency and strengthen the reliability of expatriate workers’ skills across various sectors in KSA. The program has now achieved 100% coverage of its target countries, encompassing more than 160 countries worldwide and over 1,000 professions.
The program has delivered significant achievements through the “Professional Examination” service, which evaluates the skills of expatriate professional and technical workers by administering both theoretical and practical tests to ensure their readiness for the Saudi labor market. These assessments are carried out across various professions and in more 150 than national and international centers. In addition, the “Professional Verification” service ensures the authenticity and reliability of the qualifications and work experience of expatriate workers, covering various specializations required by the labor market. All processes are fully automated, with verification completed in a record time not exceeding 15 days.
By the end of the first half of 2025, more than 460,000 workers has utilized through the program, spanning vital sectors such as: digital, culture and entertainment, financial services and insurance, energy and utilities, and logistics and transportation sectors.
Through the “Professional Accreditation”program, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aims to ensure that all expatriate workers possess the necessary qualifications and skills to meet the needs of the Saudi labor market, while enhancing workforce competencies. This contributes to improving market efficiency, strengthening the reliability of recruitment processes, reducing the flow of unqualified workers, and fostering a more productive and competitive work environment.
