His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, has approved the regulatory rules governing the outsourcing of expatriate labor services between establishments. This initiative comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance compliance, improve the efficiency of the labor market, and regulate contractual relationships in a manner that ensures the rights of all parties.
These rules aim to enable establishments to outsource services with specific tasks that can be performed by expatriate workers already residing in the Kingdom. The implementation of such services shall be carried out under the direct supervision of the service-providing establishment through the "Ajeer" platform. These rules contribute to regulating the labor market and enabling establishments to utilize the available regulatory solutions through secondment permits offered via "Ajeer".
The Ministry called on establishments to review the details of the regulatory rules governing the outsourcing of expatriate labor services through the "Ajeer" platform, and to take advantage of this mechanism to rectify their status in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development through these rules aims to regulate the process of service outsourcing between establishments, in a manner that contributes to safeguarding contractual rights and improving the efficiency of the work environment within the Saudi labor market.
