His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, signed an agreement on the recruitment of general labor with His Excellency the Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Asif Nazrul. The signing ceremony took place during a meeting between H.E. Eng. Al-Rajhi and H.E. Dr. Nazrul, in the presence of several senior officials and specialists from both sides. The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two friendly countries to achieve mutual objectives.
The agreement aims to establish a regulatory framework for all necessary procedures concerning Bangladeshi labor, ensuring the protection of both worker and employer rights, and regulating the contractual relationship between them.
This step comes within the Ministry of HRSD’s efforts to build and strengthen international partnerships and relations with its counterparts across the globe, to open new labor markets, ensure a balanced labor market, and explore avenues of cooperation at all levels in pursuit of shared goals and interests.
