Registration of expatriate practitioners of accounting professions with SOCPA

With the launch starting soon on 31/8/2019

Ministry of Labor and Social Development requires the registration for the expats working on accountant and finance jobs for membership & Professional Registration from Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the accountant professionals in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development requires the registration for the expats working on accountant and finance jobs for membership & Professional Registration from Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) when modify the profession, and issue or renew Work Licenses through electronic linkage between MLSD & SOCPA for auditing the certificates and licenses which start on 31/08/2019.

This requirement is an extension of a memorandum of cooperation between Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), and The Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) to nationalize and improve accountant jobs in line with the objectives of the National Transformation Program and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
