Agency for Monitoring and Developing the Work Environment
The Work Environment Control and Development Agency is concerned with monitoring the compliance of private sector establishments with the provisions of the Labor Law and its regulations, in addition to the ministerial decisions issued for its implementation. Its field and office control operations cover all regions of the Kingdom throughout the year, to enhance the compliance of establishments in the labor market with the system, stimulating the participation of national human resources, and attracting, developing, and retaining competencies. The agency is an integrated and developed system of effective and automated control policies, tools, and procedures while committing to neutrality, confidentiality, and independence.
Agency objectives:
- Raising the level of compliance of the labor market with the provisions of the Labor Law, its regulations, and the decisions issued to implement it
- Protecting the rights of workers and employers
- Contributing to creating a suitable, safe, and attractive work environment
- Enhancing awareness of the Labor Law, its regulations, and the ministerial decisions implementing it
