His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed ibn Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed ibn Salman ibn Abdulaziz, on the occasion of the issuance of the Kingdom's budget for the fiscal year 2026, stressing that it reflects the continued generous support for the comprehensive development process, and consolidates the Kingdom's pioneering experience in the economic and social track under the Saudi Vision 2030.
His Excellency explained that the human resources and social development system is one of the most important contributors to achieving the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, through its participation in 8 of the 11 vision programs, and working on 26 strategic objectives implemented through 100 initiatives, of which more than 70% have been achieved so far.
He added that the system has 32 vision indicators, which succeeded in exceeding the targets of 20 of them ahead of time, which reflects the effectiveness of the implemented policies and programs, and the acceleration of the pace of achievement under the support of the wise leadership.
The Minister said that the 2026 budget reflects the strength of the national economy, its ability to continue sustainable growth and diversification of the economic base, as well as the leadership's continued interest in empowering the Saudi people, providing quality job opportunities, strengthening the social protection system, and empowering the non-profit sector to be an effective partner in development.
His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development concluded his statement by raising the highest prayers that God perpetuates the Kingdom's security, stability and prosperity, and preserves its wise leadership, stressing the system's commitment to harnessing what was included in the 2026 budget to serve the citizen and resident, enhance the competitiveness of the labor market, the quality of family and community life, and achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 in building a prosperous economy, a vibrant society and an ambitious homeland.
