The Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has honored eight distinguished Saudi individuals, companies, and projects for their excellence in institutional and social work. Attended by His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, and Their Excellencies, Ministers, and heads of delegations from GCC countries, the ceremony recognized the honorees based on specific criteria, as Saudi companies have achieved high localization rates and have relied on national labor in the GCC.
The honorees included: Riyadh Metro Company and the Saudi Global Ports Company for their outstanding work, Donors Services Center project from the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation for its pioneering work in the non-profit and voluntary sector, Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi Oncology Project by Al Yamama Commercial Works and Contracting Company for its pioneering commercial sector project, and Mudakir Business Services Company in the category of best small projects in GCC countries.
Three Saudi individuals were also recognized: Mr. Mulhi bin Salamah bin Sa'idan for his pioneering work in social affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Abdulali, Assistant Minister of Health for Health Services, in the civil service category, and Ms. Adwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Arifi, Assistant Minister of Sports for Sports Affairs, also in the civil service category.
The awards were presented during the ceremony to honor outstanding individuals, companies, institutions, and projects in labor, social affairs, and civil service in the GCC countries, held in Kuwait on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The event took place on the sidelines of the ministerial meetings for Labor, Social Affairs/Development, and Civil Service.
This recognition of Saudi individuals and companies is a testament to the national efforts to empower talent, support pioneering projects, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation in both the public and private sectors. It aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthens the Kingdom's active presence within the framework of joint Gulf action.
