The initiative, organized by HRSD in partnership with Devoteam, aims to encourage and support Saudi university graduates, students, and job seekers to showcase creativity and innovation by developing digital solutions that enhance the Ministry's digital system and provide a unique, high-quality experience for its beneficiaries.
The closing ceremony will feature the five finalist teams from the hackathon presenting their solutions to a jury, which will select the top three winning teams and present them with prizes. The Ministry previously announced the launch of the initiative and invited students to submit their ideas, which were evaluated based on the criteria set for the proposed challenges.
The initiative was divided into three main stages. The first stage involved the hackathon phase, where various digital challenges were posed by HRSD, and 1000 teams participated. During this stage, all team submissions were reviewed and evaluated, with the most promising entries shortlisted and presented to a committee of experts for assessment regarding their feasibility and potential implementation. The second stage involved a series of comprehensive workshops for the participating teams, focusing on innovation and aimed at refining their proposed solutions. The third and final stage will see the top initiatives presented, and the three best digital innovations will be selected as winners.
It is worth noting that HRSD launched this initiative to promote technology and innovation in the Kingdom, create an optimal environment for talent development, and enhance the role of national talent in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
